Sangre de Cristo and Sargent join to field football teams
What happened
The board voted 5-0 on December 16 to approve an agreement (MOU) for a middle and high school football co-op with Sargent for 2026-27. A co-op means students from both districts play on one team.

The district is too small to field some teams alone. The co-op decides where football players practice and play next year.
