What happened

On December 17, 2025 the board approved selling up to $99 million of general obligation bonds voters passed on November 4, 2025, and approved the 2025 bond project budgets. The district's bond page says the money is for roofs, secure entrances, heating and cooling, and more classroom space in Berthoud.

Why it matters to families

The bond pays for building repairs and added space across schools. A citizen committee was set up to oversee it, and a later budget adjustment was approved on Aug 19, 2026.

The evidence

The Dec 17 minutes record separate unanimous 7-0 votes approving the 2025 Bond Project Budgets and the resolution authorizing the bonds in an amount not to exceed $99 million.
