Girls' volleyball joins a co-op with Conrad
What happened
On July 14, 2026 the board approved a three-year high school volleyball co-op with Conrad Public Schools. The board noted that all of Valier's girls' teams now play through co-ops with other schools.
Why it matters to families
Students can play volleyball even though Valier is too small for its own team, but they travel to Conrad. In August the board talked about letting students drive themselves to practices with parent permission.
The evidence
The July 14, 2026 special meeting minutes record the unanimous vote, about five interested players, and travel costs of about $100 per trip.
