Conestoga Elementary renovation approved: two summers of work
What happened
The state approved a renovation of Conestoga Elementary. It includes new heating and electrical systems, a secure entry vestibule, perimeter fencing, a bigger kitchen, music room soundproofing, and new paint, carpet and cabinets. Work will span two summers.

The August 25, 2026 minutes say the Conestoga MCER was 'approved and out to bid for design services' and list the planned work. The September 8 minutes say the State Facilities Commission approved it, with design firm approval set for October 13.
