Discipline problems and suspensions are rising

What happened
In February the superintendent reported 51 of about 300 students had discipline issues, including teasing, bullying and harassment. Earlier reports named vaping and fights. At the June budget hearing, staff said suspension rates have gone up and chronic absence rose for some student groups.
