All schools accredited, but elementary flagged for students with disabilities

High-risk

What happened

State results for 2025-26 shown on October 12, 2026: Greensville Elementary rose to 'meets expectations' (79.8), Wyatt Middle scored 84.4, and the high school was 'distinguished' (103.1). All schools are fully accredited. But Greensville Elementary will be federally identified because students with disabilities scored below the state threshold, and the high school may be too pending a state review.

Why it matters to families

Being identified brings extra state oversight and support and lowers the school's rating one level. Earlier in the year the elementary school had been rated 'off track' with about one in five students chronically absent.

The evidence

In the October 12, 2026 recording, the executive director of assessment and accountability presents the scores, says all schools are fully accredited, and says Greensville Elementary will be federally identified for students with disabilities. The February 2026 presentation showed the school 'Off Track'.
