Board adopts 2026-27 budget
What happened
On June 29, 2026 the board approved the 2026-27 budget and the matching appropriation, fund balance and interfund borrowing resolutions. The May draft general fund showed about $6.45 million in revenue and $6.68 million in spending, using about $230,000 of savings and leaving about $5.6 million.
Why it matters to families
The budget sets what the district can spend on teachers, staff and programs while state funding per student is flat and fewer students are enrolled.

Minutes item 6.2 carried; items 6.3 to 6.5 (Resolutions 37, 38, 39) were approved together. The draft figures come from the May 7 budget cover sheet; the adopted figures were not in the collected documents.
