Principal Yvonne Wiening named interim superintendent
What happened
On June 29, 2026 the board approved Yvonne Wiening, who had been the Peakview Elementary principal, as interim superintendent. On July 13 it approved her interim contract. The board also removed the former superintendent from district bank accounts and added her.
Why it matters to families
A new interim leader is running the district while the board decides on a permanent superintendent. Her old job at Peakview also needs to be covered.

Minutes item 6.9 "Approve Interim Superintendent Yvonne Wiening" carried; item 6.10 removed Robert Howard from all bank accounts. The July 13 agenda and minutes show approval of the interim superintendent contract (item 9.8).
