What happened

The board hired Ross Construction Group, the lowest bidder, to build a new central office north of the career center on a 210-day schedule. It is paid from district reserves. The current office space will become the TRACK alternative school.

Why it matters to families

This is a major use of district savings. The superintendent said in September the project is on budget and should be done around February 2027.

The evidence

June 2026 special meeting recap: 'The board approved our recommendation to go with the Ross Construction Group. They were the lowest bid'; December 2025 recap: 'it's coming out of our reserves'. (Superintendent's official recap video; YouTube auto-generated captions.) Date is the recap video upload date; the special meeting was held that morning.
