Board starts review of four Oakland charter schools
What happened
The board started its review of Achieve Academy, Lighthouse Community School, Aspire Monarch Academy, and AIMS College Prep High School. Each school is asking to stay open for five more years, from July 2027 through June 2032. The board did not decide whether to renew the schools at this meeting.
