OUSD renews Achieve Academy’s charter for five years

What happened

The board approved a five-year charter renewal for Achieve Academy, a TK–5 school operated by Education for Change. The renewal term runs July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2032.

Why it matters to families

The decision allows Achieve Academy to continue operating under its charter for another five-year term, providing continuity for the school’s students and families.

The evidence

In the September 28 board-meeting transcript, the board called a roll-call vote on granting Achieve Academy a five-year renewal; the chair then congratulated the school, and the term was stated as July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2032.
