Hope School moves to a renovated campus in summer 2026

What happened

Hope School, at 7901 Knott Avenue in Buena Park, is scheduled to move at the end of summer 2026 into the renovated former Orangeview Junior High School. Staff told the board the move frees up the 19.93-acre Hope School property for other uses.

Why it matters to families

Families of Hope School students will travel to a different campus and use different buildings from summer 2026, so the move changes daily routines, transport and facilities for every student at the school.

The evidence

Item 10.1 of the November 13, 2025 approved minutes records the presentation on the Hope School property, stating the school "is scheduled to relocate to the renovated former Orangeview Junior High School end of Summer 2026" and that the move makes the 19.93-acre site available.
