On July 28, 2026 the board adopted goals for 2026-27. Last year 39% of Haskell third graders met grade level on STAAR reading (Texas: 49%) and 35% in math (Texas: 44%). The goal is 50% for both. 86% of graduates met college, career or military readiness, above the 75% goal. Attendance was 95.63%, short of 96%.
