Girls flag football and boys volleyball launch at all high schools
What happened
The superintendent said girls flag football and boys volleyball were underway at every LCPS high school in fall 2026. More than 500 students were taking part across the two new sports.
Why it matters to families
Rock Ridge students have more school-team options. This is a reported launch, rather than the earlier budget proposal.
The evidence
The September 8 superintendent report confirmed all-high-school participation. Rock Ridge’s student representative also described the school’s new teams.
